OUR SCHOOL RULES
The ethos of the school is learning to dance in a relaxed, fun atmosphere, but we do need some rules to make sure that everyone has a
safe and enjoyable experience. We want all our dancers to get the most out of their dance experience with us and these rules will help everyone to achieve their own potential and enable the
school to run smoothly and safely.
All students must show respect to all teachers, helpers and other students. Disrespectful attitudes will not be tolerated, and we reserve the right to refuse
to teach any student who is disrespectful to others.
ALL dance fees are payable monthly in advance and are invoiced to you by the 1st of each month.
Fees are paid for your place at the Dance School, not just the lessons you physically attend. Therefore, ALL lessons must be paid for even if absence is due to
illness or holidays.
If the Dance School cancels lessons for any reason, and during Dance School holidays no fees are payable.
If a student's fees are a month in arrears or more, then they will not be able to attend their classes until the balance is paid in full along with the current
month's fees.
Dance School uniform must be worn as listed on "Our Uniform" page for ALL lessons.
Appropriate dance shoes should be worn in lessons at all times. Shoes are a must in Rock'n'Roll and Street Dance lessons due to Health & Safety and ISTD
rules.
Hair must be worn up in ALL lessons.
Jewellery MUST be removed prior to lessons due to Health & Safety requirements. If this is not complied with, then the Dance School will not accept any
responsibility for any injuries caused.
Mobile phones are to be kept in bags during lessons and only taken out if the class teacher gives permission.
