TAP

Tap Dance is a form of dancing using the sounds of the tap shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion. There are several variations on Tap Dance including Jazz Tap, Classical Tap, Broadway Tap and Post-Modern Tap.

MODERN

Modern is a theatrical free expressive style of dance that developed in the early 20th Centry as a reaction to Classical Ballet.

JAZZ

Jazz is the performace dance technique and style that emerged in America. Jazz has become one of the most popular styles in recent years, mainly due to its popularity on TV shows, commercials and music videos. 

BALLET 

Ballet is a performance dance that originated in the 15th Centry in France and Russia. It has since become a widespread, highly technical form of dance with its own French terminology. 

STREET

Street is style of dance that evolved outised dance studios in any available open space such as streets, parks and school yards. Street dances are often improvisational and social in nature, encouraging interaction and contact with spectators and other dancers.

DISCO FREESTYLE 

Freetysle was developed in the early 1980's from the ashes of disco, which is why it is often known as Disco Dancing.

ROCK 'N' ROLL 

Rock 'n' Roll is a grenre of popular music that originated and evolved in the U.S, during the 1940's and 1950's from musical styles such as gospel, jazz, boogie woogie and rhythm 'n' blues.

ACORBATIC ARTS

Acro is the performace of balance, agility and motor co-ordination. 

CONTEMPORARY

Contemporary dance is a style of expressive dance that combines elements of several dance genres including Modern, Jazz and Classical Ballet. Contemporary dancers strive to connect the mind and the body through fluid dance movements. 

MUSICAL THEATRE

Musical Theatre is a dramatic performance thats uses acting, singing, dancing and dialouges to convey a story.
